I am running XP and my email client is Outlook.
For some reason I have been getting the message that asks for my Network Login password.
This started about 2 weeks ago and nothing I have done stops it from popping up.
I have NO network to log into, and my email server does not require a secure password to log onto it, so does anyone know how to stop this.

What version of Outlook and what type of email server are you accessing? Pop3 or something else?
Soylent Green is PEOPLE!!!

Outlook = 2002 SP3
eMail Server = Pop-3
OS = XP-Pro SP2
All updates are current.Thanks for any advise. The pop-up is making me crazy. I have tried to find information about this on the M$ site and through my ISP with no success.
It seems like I had this issue about 3 years ago but it just went away back then. I had a different ISP at that time, so the problem must be with my settings. Maybe some type of program overlap? But I can not think of any other program that interfaces with Outlook on this unit.

I took your advice, found a missing registry entry, and fixed it. I will watch for the pop-up for a few hours and then repost with the results.
No matter what happens – thank you for the help.

The registry edit, that was posted above, failed too help.
The message window states:
"ENTER NETWORK PASSWORD"then in their individual slots are the password and username, that are required to access my ISP email server,. Below that is a box that needs to be checked to remember the password.
This window appears every 30 minutes.
Jennifer, do you have any more ideas?

I've heard of this problem quite a few times from a lot of different people, but no one I've asked has a fix.

Hey Jennifer, I noticed your catch faze “Soylent Green is PEOPLE!!!”
. You know if it's pink around the edges, we still eat it, right.

We are having the same problem. Just started today. We have 4 computers, not networked and they are all doing it. As a matter of fact, it just popped up as I was typing this.
Any help would be appreciated.
