I am trying to connect though a speedstream 5200. I recently upgraded the firmware to convert the modem to a router.
I have two VC options. *One is set up to be a regular modem which I use the brodband "dial-up" icon to connect, which works correctly. *The second I is set up to be a router which will connect for me. When I enable this connection it tells me I am connected and assigns the router an IP address but I can't connect with my machine to any webpages or mail.
Any advice would be much appreciated. As well what other information will you need to help diagnose this problem.
