XP Network Bridge

I'm trying to use XP's bridging feature to bridge my wireless connection (internet) with my local area connection (ethernet crossover cable to one other laptop). As soon as I create the bridge, my wireless connection cuts out. I use a dell truemobile 1150 wireless nic. I can enable Force Compatibility Mode with netsh, but it doesn't help. Why does my wireless card cut out?

I think you misunderstand MS's use of the word bridge. I suspect that you really want an ICS or other http proxy server application. I read it wrong and answer it wrong too. So get off my case you goober.
