Specs: Windows XP Pro
My laptop has stopped accessing my workgroup. I had this problem before and found a solution which sent me to the registry. The problem was that the registry has set the networking to domain instead of workgroup, and I had to change the setting in the registry. I can't find that solution again, where in the registry do I change that value back?

I've never had a PC 'accidentaly' change itself from workgroup to domain. Someone would have to make that change.

The place to look is in System Properties

Open it up (Control Panel >> System) and click on the "Computer Name" tab. If it is indeed in a domain and not a workgroup, you can change it back to workgroup by clicking on the "Change" button.

How charged with punishments the scroll,

I am the captain of my soul.

I looked at that first, the and when this happened before, I had to go into the registry to fix it. I need to know where in the registry that is.
