Xp home networking problem

I have 2 machines, both running xp home, i am using a belkin router which i have no problems with. both pc's can access the net but cannot share files or printers. i have tried everything but cannot resolve the problem. please help!!!

first if you are running firewalls on both machines then enable netbios file/printer sharing on port 138 for LAN make sure you network mode is set to infustuture on the wireless and set up a home net work with home networking. make sure you have file and print sharing enabled.
