Comment:

I am trying to connect a XP Pro, XP Home and OSX laptops to Surecom 8 port switch (which is linked to another switch for wireless internet) The XP Pro and OSX connect fine but the XP Home does not. When the XP home machine is disconnected from the Surecom switch and connected directly to the cable from the other switch, Internet access is possible. Have changed cables, ports etc but no joy. Help!

Hamza;

go to each of your machines, go to START/RUN type in "CMD". At the command prompt type "ipcomfig /all".
What is the difference between them?
