Hi everyone.
I am beginning to rip my hair out over this so maybe one of you can help.
I have read as many posts as I can find on this but nothing seems to workSet up:
Linksys wireless G broadband router.
Cable modem (Blueyonder 512 connection)
Computer 1 - Desktop, XP Home, cabled to Router.
Computer 2 - Desktop, XP pro, Linksys wirelss card.
Computer 3 - Laptop, XP Pro, Linksys wireless card.Run the Network set up wizard on computer 1.
Make disk, Run on computer 2 then again on computer 3.
I make sure that ZoneAlarm is disabled and that the built in XPFW is turned off
Computer 1 can see files in shares on Comp 2 and on itself.
Computer 2 only sees it's own files.
Computer 3 sees Computer 2's files.
Then I lose my Internet connection on all machines.
Before I try and set the network up I have internet connection on all three computers.Q1. Which of the options in the network wizard should I choose?
Q2. Anyone know of compatibility issues between XP Home and Pro when trying to set up a network?
Q3. Any other ideas?This should be easy..right?
Your help is greatly apppreciated.

I forgot to add.
1. I have ensured that the workgroup is the same on all computers.
2. Simple Network Sharing does not appear under Tools, Folders, View etc etc on the Home pc. In fact there are no 'advanced' options I read you talking about. (Does that mean it is disabled?).
3 Anyone have a valium?Thanks

OK here's the latest (if anyone is interested)
After a bit of tinkering and understanding that the folder option is in XP Pro only, all three can now see each other.
BUT.
The two XP Pro machines can see files etc.
But they can;t see the files on the Home machine. Just the shared folders.
Try and access the files in the folders and the message is 'blah blah blah might not have permission blah blah blah not enough server storage is available blah blah blah'Any ideas?
