I have a Fujitsu laptop running XP Home SP2.There is a simple telnet server running. I am able to connect to the server port from another in my home network, but data is never received from the client side. Is that any special setup on XP home to allow a telnet server to function correctly? everything works fine in the other direction. Thanks for any help!

Hi, if your using Windows Defaul Telnet Client, and its still not working, then there is probably a problem with the server. You should try using DataNet MKII, it is a very easy to use telnet server. You can download it from this link: http://www.lozware.ndo.co.uk/Downloads/DataNet.zip
