I have XP on HD1 dual booting with Windows 7 on HD2. I uninstalled Win 7 (formatted HD2) but it still appears with XP at boot time. How do I get rid of the Win 7 line? JG

It is possible to manually edit your Boot.ini file however you can achieve a suitable result by rightclicking on "My Computer", select properties tab and go to Startup & Recovery settings screen. Select XP as your default operating system and the time to display as Zero. The lines in the boot.ini that relate to the previous dualboot configuration will still be there but you will no longer be presented with the option at startup.
