Here's my issue: I have a desktop running XP with a virtual machine running 2003 Server. Desktop (XP) obtains IP from wireless router. Then the VM (2003) obtains IP from XP desktop. My issue is that I can't get my laptop (running XP) to connect to the domain. I've setup a domain on the 2003 VM but I just can't get it to go. Its almost as if the Laptop dosn't even see the 2003 VM running. Any ideas and/or useful websites for setting up a Windows 2003 Server Home Network? Thanks!

The normal answer is put xp back to workgroup. Add or recreate the computer in AD then change xp back to the domain.
The best place for info is the technet site at microsoft. The books for the qual is almost word for word from their info. To MS's credit they offer plenty of other resources. They had virtual machines that you could run online and plenty of tutorials. Not sure you could even find all information about xp and 2003 on their site. Bet they don't know even how much info exists.
I read it wrong and answer it wrong too. So get off my case you goober.

XP is the host for the vm sessions. Normally you run 2003 in a VM and XP as a VM to connect the two vms together. I never have tried to run a vm and connect to the host.
