I have windows xp on one computer and the other cant support it so i have 98se on that one. Is it relatively easy to hook up a network between the two? I already have a hub and the cable and two IP's.

With XP, its a cinch!!! Just refer to the help within xp as well, and look up network wizard. This network setup works across all windows platforms, as long as one of them is XP. Thats all you need. Have fun!!
