hi. i have an xbox 360 with xbox live and an ehome wireless router. i can plug my xbox into the wall and go on xbox live perfectly. however, i want to plug my laptop and my xbox into the router (i dont want wireless). my laptop has internet and everything fine, but i cant connect to live. it just says theres no connection. i port forwarded the 3 ports that ur supposed to, but that didnt help. any suggestions? thakns

The following ports must be available for Xbox Live to operate correctly:
• UDP 88
• UDP 3074
• TCP 3074

Does your xbox have a static ip address? If has to for forwarding to work. Might want to consider just "permitting" those ports to be open on the router

Imagine the power if you knew how to internet search

nvrmd, thx i was able to fix it. i changed dns settings to automatic and enabled these ports and it worked. thanks
