I am having problems finding the answer to my question. This was my last resort, since it is a computer website.

I am trying to link 2 xbox's togethor, and IU am wondering if I do need a crossover cable to run them straight to each other.

Also, if i use a hub, My tech teacher told me I needed to set up a dhcp and blah blah so I can assign certain ip's. Do i need to do this? there wont be any computers on the network, just the xbox...

Thanks in advance.

If you link two xbox together, you use a cross over cable. I am not sure how to assign an ip in a xbox. If you can assign an ip to each box, then you don't need dhcp server. If its default it to obtain ip from a dhcp server, then you might have to look into setting up a dhcp server to handle ips for these boxes.
