WPA2 Attaining my password after a move.

My fiance and I moved to a new apt And I plugged in our wireless router and the I no longer have my wpa2 password on me. So i need a way to get it. I tried 192.168.1.1 but with no internet it wont allow us to connect? Im getting frustrated anyone have some helpful advice and i can hack it if someone can walk me thru it.

Click Start / Run and type in cmd. In the command prompt type in ipconfig /all There should be listed a gateway address. These address is the address of the router. This has to be typed into the address line of your browser to access the router.
Also look for the listed ip address. This should be something like 192.168.x.x, depending on the router you have. If it is an ip address of 169.254.x.x, you are not connected to the router. So try to connect to the router by wire and restart windows to get the new ip configuration data.
