Hello,
I work in an environment that has two separate lan and some workstation needs access to both. I looked at the rj45 manual switchboxes but they are only for 10Mbps networks. Are there any other solutions, hardware or software?

There is no reason to have two network in the same office. However, both network must use the same cabling infrastructure, and you can control trafic if you add static routes on your router.
If you are stuck in a situation where you have different type cabling and it is a problem you can use a MAU device.

2 networks same office... i disagree in that I maily work in law offices and the smaller places seem to like to share office space with other lawyers but like to be totally segregated in every other aspect.

Try installing another NIC to that workstation, configure your protocol properties--ip address, default gateway. etc and connect it to the other LAN.

katalyst: Internet is a network of network. In the same way a lot of corporations are using firewall and routers within their LAN to control trafic exchange between their department, division,... or other lawyers!
Also you can use VLAN technologies to make several logical network working on a same cabling, hub, switch environement.
