Workgroup to Domain

Specs: Windows Server 2003 - Windows XP
Dear Friends,
Ours is a Windows Server 2003 server which is configured as Workgroup. There are some 30 nodes connected to it. I want to convert the server from workgroup to domain. In the server we r using Sqlserver 2000 as our database. How i can do this? Pls give me a step by step instruction.

Dear my Friend,

Firs can i ask you something do you have a Domain Controller Machine ?
If you do not have this server build one,
if you have this i'll give you e short steps to join your server into the domain.

On the Windows 2003 server
right click at the My Computer icon and
click Properties, to open a System Properties page then
click Computer Name tab
click Change buton
on the Member Of area click Domain and write the domain name
click OK and you will be ask from the domain for User and Password this should be a domain user try the Domain Administrator Account
and you will get e message "Welcome to Domain"
after this click OK restart the server and your are joined into the domain now.
