Wont connect any more

Specs: Windows Vista
Hi

I currently own a Belkin Wireless G Plus
MIMO router. It has been running brilliantly,
doesn't matter where I take my laptop in the
house I will be able to connect to it. How
recently I have only bin able to connect to it
when I am in the same room. When I go to a
different room it just disconnects me even
though it is showing 3 bars.

Can any one please help me.

Rick

Did you install any updates or new programs just before it started?

Maybe the best thing to do is to borrow a router for testing purposes. It's rare but a router can go bad.

ye I'll try that, the weird thing though, is I have a desktop in
the room above and last night it was giving me full connection
and then went to limited and back to full every 5 minutes and
then later on all laptops and computers were connecting
perfectly anywhere in the house. Now is back to nothing
again.

cheers for all the help

Rick

change the channel for the wireless to something different and see if that makes a difference.
