Hi There

I have an Acer TravelMate 4062 and a Belkin 54G Wireless Router.

Everything was absolutely fine, the laptop was connecting to the router via the built in Wirless LAN etc, until one day I decided to change the SSID of the router through the setup via the IP address. However, I decided against it and changed it back.

The problem is that now, the laptop seems only to connect sometimes to the router and even sometimes, when it says on the laptop its not connected, it actually is!

I installed a Belkin PCMCIA card which I had lying around and this works a treat, but its just more convenient using the built in Wirless LAN.

Can anyone help?
Thanks
R/.

If i remember correctly, if you go under your onboard wireless adapter settings, you will see a tab called "perferred ssids". Remove all of them except the one your network is using. That should solve your problem.
