One Lan on the fifth floor in a concrete high rise building and another Lan on the twentieth floor in the same building. How can I connect the two Lans using wireless technology? Which products can achieve the best performance?
I recommend Xircom Wireless LAN. Chris Glandez at 1-805-376-9300.
You will have to setup some access points to act as a repeater. They will bounce the connection from one access point to another in order to make it last access point in the chain. You could also run one CAT5E cable up to the floor that you have the other wireless network on and plug it into the access point. You can buy CAT 5 wire that is for outside use if you can run it out the window and up to the other floor. This would be cheaper than buying 4 or 5 access pionts to bounce signals. Chris may have another option. Tell Mr. Hensley sent you to him. www.xircom.com you might want to check the web site out. Thank you
