i have the Intel pro/wirelss 2200BG card in my dell inspiron 9200.
i have a an ad hoc connection to my fathers laptop downstairs...

this has been going on for a little bit now (the problem ive been having.. just finally got around to posting it)

well, if i shut down windows with my wifi card enabled... when i start windows (xp pro, sp2) in the morning.. it loads up just fine.. come to login username and password.. windows pops up.. but it hangs... everything is loaded, taskbar.. backround wallpaper, all desktop icons.. but i am unable to do anything on the taskbar.. i can right click icons on the desktop and goto, say, properties just fine... but the taskbar is frozen.... and it sits, and "loads" for about 5 minutes....

this never used to happen...
(i know its the wifi card, if i disable it, this never happens.. and during loading, everything loads up by the clock.. and then hangs.. and the last to show up is the wifi icon... )
my startup is pretty bare.. i dont have too much going on.. i can list them if youd like..

any help anyone!?

thanks alot
pj
