Hi,
Here are the detailed specs on the PC:
AMB Athlon T Bird 1 GHz
256 RAM
Win XP Pro W/ SP2 & all recent updates
......................................
I recently plugged in a PCI wireless card (it's Fry's store brand "AIRLINK")
- I have installed the drivers from CD
- I have enabled Win XP's "NZS" (Network Zero Service) & Started it as well

I get Excellent Signal, but no Connection.
in the status window: it shows that lot of bytes r sent but 0 byte received
......
I have another PC in the same room that has following config:
AMD Athlon XP 2 Ghz
1.5 GB RAM- WIN XP PRo w/ SP 2

This Computer also uses an Airlink Brand card, but instead of PCI, it's USB and on this, the wireless connection works just fine...
-> I have matched the settings of both the PCs side by side and they are the same
...........
My wireless source is in a different room. There are other 2 PCs in the house that use the same wireless and work just fine.
..........
I tried reading a coupel of microsoft articles,..they showed the same spets I already followed
..
please let me know if any of u faced similar situations or might have any suggestions
\thank u

Could you explain what exactly you mean by "no connection"? At which phase of making the connection does it fail? If it fails when leasing a network address, it means something's wrong with your DHCP client or server.
If it fails to receive anything but sends sone stuff, like you say, it may also be that the router/AP is configured to allow a certain list of MAC addresses actually into the network. It may or may not lease you an IP address - if it does, you can add the computer's MAC address to the list by selecting its DHCP lease entry. If your computer doesn't receive an IP address, you need to write down the MAC address and enter it manually. This is *only* if your AP has the feature to filter on MAC address and has it enabled (it's disabled by default).
Good luck!
