Specs: Windows XP, 768
hi guys...

i bought a wireless net adapter TP-Link TL-
WN721N coz my notebook's WIFI won't work.
Included in the package is a cd installer.
unfortunately, my cd/dvd drive have some
problems that it can only read dvds. So what i
did was to put the files of cd into my USB
using my other desktop.i tried to install the
software and its has no problem. however,
when i tried to install the adapter,(New found
hardware wizard) it says that it cannot install it
for it cannot find the specified file.

i tried to download from TP-Link's site the
software but to no avail. it can install the
driver's software but not the adapter itself...

Any help would be appreciated...thanks!!!

You have to tell the installer the exact path where you put the files. There is an option for that.

i've already did that and no luck..

i went to the store where I bought the Wireless Lan Adapter
and the technician there tried to install it but to no avail..

he suggested that I reformat my OS because there might be
some compatibility issues.. im almost done with reinstalling
my OS and hopefully it'll work..
thanks anyway...

I'll be sending message if I got it right...

Reinstall for that? I call that "hospital thinking". Right away, the doctor wants to operate.
