I have a situation where I want to connect a Vonage box to a wireless access point. There is no way to get a LAN cable to the location where I want to have the Vonage. Is there some device that will connect to the wireless access point and have a LAN connection that I can connect the Vonage device?

Something like this is likely what you're after... Wifi bridges allow you to have a local plug-in (cat5) connection that is linked by wifi to the main lan/system

You can always use something like a homeplug, it plugs into the power outlet. So basically you would run a lan cable from your router to where you have the homeplug plugged into your wall outlet. Then the signal travels though your power lines. Then you have another homeplug where you vonage is.

If poster is in N.Am... not sure Homeplug is available there; or any other really comparable product either?
But if they are... then true it may well be another option; and costs possibly about same as a wifi bridge? May also be a wee bit easier to to set up etc...?
