Hi all heres my problem, hope you can help.
I have 2 pc's which are normally connected to the net by wireless router. However in the past few days i've noticed that one does not connect anymore, and does not even see the router(it sees my neghbours though)in my connections listing, and the other one will connect but the speed is right down at 1Mbps, from the usual 40-50 it was before. The signal strength hasnt changed, its always been fairly poor, but I always got a good speed anyway in spite of this.I am tempted to just buy a new router and see if this fixes it, as its fairly old and beat up, but do you guys have any other suggestions?
Cheers

My guess would be that the wireless card is going bad.

If it had only been an issue with one pc i would agree with you, but both are having issues which was why i was edging towards the router itself. Was wondering if there was any test i could do to determine the problem?
