Wireless setup thru wired router

Can I connect a wireless 5-port bridge to a wired router and connect wireless desktops to the router thru the wireless bridge?
My company allows me to VPN using a laptop and a wired Linksys firewall router they provide. I have Linksys Firewall Router with a 4-port switch. Company policy and security controls make wireless on the laptop a non-option. I want my other desktops to be wireless and share the same internet access through a router. My original thought was to substitute a wireless router and still connect the laptop to a router switch port. I would then connect the other 2 PC’s using wireless NIC’s. Another thought I had is to connect a wireless 5 port bridge to another port on the company provided wired router. Will that allow the other 2 PC’s to connect via their wireless NIC’s through the wireless bridge??

You need a wireless access point. I'm using a D-Link DWL-900AP+ hard wired to my 8-port router. The wired port on the router then serves the wireless access point and all the wireless PC's connected to it.
Some wireless routers also have the capability of being used as a wireless access point.

Thanks, I'll try that. I'll assume that I'll need a crossover cable from the access point to the router, correct?

No. You use a normal CAT5 cable. No crossover cable required.
