wireless router school network

would it be possible to share file from a small network using a wireless router to connect to the main network at my school? at the moment the router is connected to the network, but file sharing is impossible. i would like to see other people in my workgroup, under my network places.

Have you talked to the IT department in your school about this? If not, I highly recommend you do so.
