We have a T1 connection at work shared through a TCP/IP switch. I assign static internal IPS to all the machines. There are a couple of machines that I want to give wireless connections to as we keep moving them from place to place in the office. My question is...can I plug a wireless router to the switch and place wireless network cards in the two machines. Secondly, will the Linksys cable/DSL router work for this because ours is a T1 connection. Should it make a difference?
I am not clear. Are you saying that I dont need a wireless router at all. I am just looking for a basic wireless solution that would allow a couple of computers to access the network at work without having to plug in. What would you suggest I do?
