I'm hoping someone can help me i have recently had problems with my "Netgear-G Router WGR614 v9" which i bought of virgin media to make my connection with them wireless, i had it set up so the ethernet cable went from PC to internet socket on Router and another Ethernet cable from the Lan port 1 to the modem suplied by virgin and all was working fine until i was tidy the wires on pc and reconected it and the router will not reconise theethernet from router to the PC, therefore i can only run the internet of the PC and cannot get it on laptop or Xbox 360.

Any help resolving this matter will be greatly appreciated.

Many Thanks

J Hettrick

You have it connected wrong. The modem should go to the Internet socket on the router and you PC and everything else connected to the LAN sockets.
