Wireless router on 1 comp????

Im wanting to buy a wireless router but i only have 1 computer. I want to have the wireless router at one end of the room and my PC at the othe end of the room. Can the router still run evan though it wont be plugged into any computer?

Yes. Once a router is properly set up it doesn't need an attached computer.
