Can I use a wireless router from Linksys and a wireless network adapter from D-link together as long as they are both 802.11n?

Yes (and no and maybe.)

One would be advised to consider a way to secure the data. Being wireless you invite people to look. They should both be set to at least the highest level that both units can use. So, they could be used if you set it up correctly.

I read it wrong and answer it wrong too. So get off my case you goober.
