Hi,

I just installed a wireless USB internet adapter on a laptop and got it connected to the modem.. but before this connection i had some old IDSN connection and for some reason everything works with the new wireless connection except Internet Explorer, this program somehow has an option wrong or something cause the rest (windows updates etc.) is working fine...

I also tried installing the new Internet Explorer 7 but its still the same...
So does anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks in advance.

Sounds like you still have the old network connections enabled. IE only looks for what it knows, not what is there.
Try deleting the other network connections, only leaving the wireless connection. Then in IE tools-->options-->connections and setup the connections as follows...
In the wizard choose Connect the the Internet - Set up my connection manually - Connect using a broadband connection that is always on - then finish.
All should be well :)

Also, check IE's settings, to make sure it is not configured to use a proxy server.
