I have a laptop and desktop setup wirelessly. Firstly I must emphasise that it all works fine(ish).
The problem is, I can access any website except one (one of my favourites) on either my laptop or d/top. If I take away the wireless option on either of the two computers and connect my broadband directly into either of the computers I can then access this one site that I mentioned, along with any other website.
I then reconnect with the wireless gear and access the internet through the adsl modem router and the same problem occurs, all of the internet can be accessed except this one site.

I have been into tools/internet options/privacy and content tabs to look at the cookies etc.... but this makes no difference.

Another quicky, in Network connections, I have a LAN connection, Wireless Connection and 1394 Connection. Am I correct in saying that I don't have to have firewalls selected on either as my router has a firewall and that's the one that matters?
Incidentally, (I'm not talking about the f/wall now) I have the LAN connection disabled and the wireless & 1394 connections are enabled. I have WEP enabled and again everything is working fine apart from accessing this one site. Do I really need WEP enabled, my neighbours are not on wireless btw.

Many thanks in advance

Rich

We used to have a wireless lab for 1 program. The specifications for that program said "installing this program over a wireless connection will take 10 times as long to install". Sooo...

Are you giving the wireless time to load the webpage? Is this webpage heavy with graphics, flash, scrolling text or pictures, etc.? What is the website?

The way I interpret your problem, somehow you have blocked your access to that site through the wireless connection of your router, by accident. I would hard reset your wireless router, then try to access the site again, as you have listed above.

WEP always slows down your connection, and yes, you should have it enabled, regardless that your neighbors don't have it. Hackers do War driving to find open networks, then mark the curb where others can access them.
