Hello All,

I have 2 XP SP2 machines connected to a DLINK DIR-655 Wireless router. Windows Firewall is turned off.

IP Address Machine 1: 192.168.0.192
IP Address Machine 2: 192.168.0.242

Both machines are on same subnet. They cannot ping each other, thus Remote Desktop does not work either. They can however ping the router (192.168.0.1)

IF the PC's are hard wired to the router, they can communicate just fine, so this problem only occurs when using Wireless.

Any ideas?

Issue is resolved

Changed seetings in router:

Unchecked Wi-Fi Protected Setup
Enabled Netbios Announcement
Netbios Node Type: Broadcast Only

Not sure what did it but everything is working fine now.
