hi to ever reads this:-
i am useing my friends computer to do this message okthis is what i want to do ok at home i have two computer one upstairs and one downstairs now the one upstairs has a printer attached to it and i would like to share it with the downstairs one wireless ok and i was wondering would 2 of these products word for each computer oh yeh would i also need a access point or not because the way i think i have read is that you only need 2 of them anyways i will let you take a look and you can tell me what i need and dont ok thanks alot DT1

Hi DT, sorry for not answering that e-mail you sent me, I was going to but I forgot.
Anyway, you could use 2 PCI Wireless Network Cards. Put 1 in each machine, then connect to each other using ad-hoc mode. But there is more to it than that. You need to make your printer shareable, and it is also a good idea to assign static IP addresses to both PCs.
Computer w/ Printer:
IP Address: 192.168.0.2 (I start at .2 in case you want to add a AP or Router later. -- Routers and APs sometimes use 192.168.0.1)
Subnet Mask: 255.255.0.0 or 255.255.255.0 (either 1 works fine 4 me)
Computer that will use the shared printer:
IP Address: 192.168.0.3
Subnet Mask: 255.255.0.0 or 255.255.255.0 (make sure this is the same as the computer with the printer)
