CPU/Ram: Celeron 2Ghz 256MB RAM

Hey,

I am setting up a wireless connection between this comp (my dads) and mine, it is just 2 comps. do we need just the wireless NICS, or an access point as well? as its just 2pcs Direct to each other.

each computer will need an access point (wireless NIC)

thats all

wireless networks are unreliable, dont get your hopes up if the NICS have to broadcast singnals though walls!
