Wireless Options w\out Admin Rights

New to wireless, so please forgive my lack of knowledge. Do I have any options of going wireless on a laptop (company issued) with no admin rights? If so, exactly what hardware will I need? I think it will be Win 2000.

I don't have the laptop yet, but I believe it a stand alone, logging in locally, then VPN to corporate.
Someone mentioned using a bridge. Would that be possible?

Then you will have no problems. Since your Local login will not be subject to the Domain controller policies then you can do as you deem fit in this regard (unless they lock it down on you by tweaking it to prevent it).
Either way, the better advise would be to check with the Administrator at work. They will not only guide you but may likely supply all the equipment that you need to set it up or at least provide best recommendations. In asking them you will find better assistance from them if problems arrise too.
