I recently bought a laptop that has a ethernet port and a wirless networking. I have a network already established in my home through a Linsys Cable/DSL Router with Firewall. Is their a way I can hook up something to that to change it to wireless to access my laptop. SO I can share the internet connection?

Yes. It's called a wireless access point; however, a wireless router with wired ports is quite inexpensive these days and would be much less cumbersome than havine both a wired router and an access point connected to it. I would consider a new wireless router the best alternative.
