I have a Linksys ADSL wireless-G gateway box connected to a pc via ethernet and is soon to be connected to broadband- In the meanwhile I got another 2 devices with NICs, how do I connect these wirelessly to form a 3 device network? Like for file sharing and game playing?

If they have regular ethernet nics then you aren't going to connect them wirelessly without buying wireless nic cards for both these machines . If they are near to the router/AP then you can run Cat5 cable diectly to your router for your network .

Both devices have wireless NIC cards, however 1 doesn't and so I connect the adsl gateway box physically by ethernet port to that pc- Now can I share files using this connection? And what do I have to do?

Or Is a gateway not the same as a router
