I am trying to set up a wireless network between my primary computer running Windows XP, a second computer running Windown 98, an HP Wireless Printer, and a cable modem. I am at the very beginning. Configuring the wireless modem is supposed to take place through an IP address. However, when I try to access the IP address, it won't work. I'm stuck at the beginning of this process and rather frustrated. Any help out there?

Power up the Network device and hold down the reset button for thirty seconds and release. Then connect it to a PC via an ethernet cable. Then reboot the PC. Then open your web browser and type in the IP address denoted in the wireless devices manual. Enter the default password and start configuring.
