Is your computer recieving an ip address?
Open msdos and type ipconfig. If your ip address is 169.254.xxx.xxx then your computer isnt receiving an IP address. If you are getting on ip address try the following. type ping and the ip address of your wireless router (probably 192.168.1.1). Try this and let me know what happens.

i got ip as 169.254.112.17 i tried manually setting it as 192.168.1.2 but that doesnt work either. Ive also tried the pin already and i got host unreachable.

Basically i have a wireless router and a cable modem is attached to it by ethernet this broadcasts the intnernet to everyone connected to my network, it works fine on my xp home laptop but with this windows 98 pc the software side of the card connects to the network but theres something not right with the ip addesses and such because i cant use the internet.
