Hi I just bought a DSL modem from bellsouth and a D-Link wireless broadband router (model DI-614+) with a wireless USB adapter made by Linksys. I mainly only want to share an internet connection.
I got the Win98 to access WinXP's shared folder. But the Win98 was not accessable by the WinXP. The Win98 didn't even show up on it's own Network neighborhood. I noticed the Internet Sharing (something) that came with the router has a yellow exclamation mark on top of it in the Device Manager. It said that I needed ICSHAREP.INF And need to install the windows 98 disk but the problem is that I got this computer made from scratch from a local company here and don't have a disk for Windows. Can I download these files from somewhere?? And would that fix my problem? Also on start up I get error messages saying that files were deleted and may not run properly (they are vserver.vxd & icsharep.vxd) I can get rid of the vserver.vxd message if I choose not to share my files and printers (Win98)Please if you have any help it's much appreciated
