Reply: (edit) Go to the netgear site and find out how to set your router to defaults . They have all the user guides their and you can print them off . Once you are able to get into the router its basically setting up a SSID and whatever encryption your router is capable , if its WPA capable and your wireless client on your laptop is also use wpa ,if not then set up WEP per router instructions . You can also set up mac filtering if you want it to limit who can attach to your network. Netgear default address is usually 192.168.0.1 , try going to that address with your browser .
