Hi there!

Me and my friend live under 1000 feet and we want to share DSL connection. There are building in the way as we live on the same block. I was wondering if I use a wireless network, would it work? I need someone's help with this problem. I have also looked into wireless antenna's but don't have any knowledge of them. Please advice me if I should use a wireless Antenna or a wireless network router or something of that sort? Thanx!

You are going to be out of range for off the shelf wireless routers from Best Buy or Office Depot. I have setup wireless connections like you describe, but had to use Cisco equipment and had to have line-of-sight for it to work. It would be much cheaper for you to each get your own DSL line.
