A PCMCIA Card and A PCI Card. After a day's work i finally got a connection between the two. I set up TCP/IP Settings to have a static IP BUT THEY AREN'T COMUNICATING!! The Led's are blinking as shood and the signal is excelent but...no comunication. CAN SOME ONE HELP AS SOON AS POSSIBLE

Every vendor of wireless devices set a special IP as the default IP. So when you want to set up your device for the first time you should set an IP in the range of the default wireless device IP. For finding this IP refer to the manual of your DLink Device. and let me know if this works.

Or you could just set the *%$! wireless AP to DHCP server, and your NICs to "obtain address automatically" and skip the whole static IP thing all together.
