Hello,
I have a Dell Inspiron 2600 notebook running WinXP. I have Roadrunner for my ISP.

Last weekend I installed a Linksys wireless router and a wireless card in my notebook. I have another computer hard wired to the router. The install was perfect and everything worked perfectly all week. Today, however, my notebook cannot connect to the router. Both lights on the wireless card are lit. The icons in the system tray say my connection signal is excellent. On the router the lights are out for the wireless card. I can, however, connect by hard wire which I am doing now. The other computer connects fine by wire as well. I've installed the drivers three times, and before that did a system restore, but no luck. It appears the card is working fine, it's just not communicating with the router.

This is very frustrating and upsetting. Is the card or the router bad? I don't understand why it stopped working all of sudden.

Thanks!
Christy
