Have a small wireless network with a simple dsl/wireless router where I can use my wireless touchscreen monitor and my dell laptop anywhere at home, as well as a video security camera 900W to watch the door, and talk to the systems in my home office in the other room. Problem; I need to expand, big time. I need to add multiple cameras, in multiple buildings, as well as place them on a sub-net so they don't slow down my normal surfing fun. Question: Does anyone know how to explain, or how to point me in the right direction to web learning resources all of the info and details about the differences and how they work for the different wireless network components such as wireless access points, wireless extenders, signal repeaters, etc. that are out there.
