i have a internal wireless internet adapter for my laptop and its not working it hasent been since i got it and the only error i can find is DHCPServer = 192.168.1.1 (FAILED) Pinging 192.168.1.1 with 32 bytes of data: Request timed out. Request timed out. Request timed out. Request timed out. Ping statistics for 192.168.1.1: Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 0, Lost = 4 (100% loss) it dosent work at my house or any of my friends is there anything i can do to fix it besides get a new one
First you have to see if it's getting an IP address. I trust that it's enabled. Disable any encryption and disable the wired NIC. The encryption could be your problem. After you do that, open a command prompt and run:
ipconfig /all press enter.
It should have an IP address of 182.168.1.X X could be any number from 2 to 254.

I would assume you have wireless router that is located near to the labtop..Then you need to configure wireless router and wireless adapter correctly.. Take a look on this wireless network setup tutorial to get more understanding...
