I wanted to build a wireless network connection between 2 apartments. I already have a Netgear MR314 so basically the only thing I needed was an additional access point. Since now Access Point + router are cheaper than Access Point, the Best Buy seller told me that I should get the AR+router. But now I cannot interconnect the two routers. I called the support and they told me that the only way to do that is to use a cable between the 2 wireless routers. I thought that using the same SSID, WEP encryption code and Channel ID with 2 different IP address in the same subnetwork would be fine to interconnect the two AP/routers. But it seems that it is not working. The 2nd AR/router that I bought is the D-Link Dl-614+. Could anyone give me some input about that? Thanks.
