Hey everyone, Im having problems with my wireless network. I have a desktop connected to the router by a ethernet cable. Then I have two laptops and another desktop that connect to the router wirelessly. My problem is, the computers thta connect wirelessly will connect to my network but then disconnect and connect to other networks. There seems to be more then 2 other wireless networks besides mine that the computers want to connect to. I have a WEP also, I dont know if that helps or not. I just want to know if there is a way for my computers to connect to my network and then ignore other networks in my neighborhood that they are trying to connect to. Will someone please help. Like I said the computers will stay connected for a few minutes then disconnect and try to reconnect to a differen network.

Did you set up your own SSID ? Are you sure WEP is working ?

Run your Wireless Networking Wizard and make sure that the client is set to "Automatically connect" to the desired network when in range and NOT to do so for any others (unless the networks don't overlap: You could set up your client to automatically connect to your home LAN and to the Starbucks LAN across town when in range because they're not close enough to interfere with each other).

Hi, On searching for my problem solution, I found this site. I have trouble to connect one of my laptops with Dell TrueMobile 1300 WLAN mini-pci card though I do not have problem on connecting my HP laptop in the same way at all. I can't figure it out why. I was told to upgrade my MR814v2 to be competitable with the wireless card. Could anyone have suggestions?
