I recentely purchased a WGR614 wireless router and WG511 wireless pcmcia card, with these devices i should be able to work at 56mbps, however i only seem to get 2mbps at excellent range, i realise i'm never going to utilise the full 56mbps but it should be atleast be 3 times faster at about 6mbps shouldn't it? When i connected the laptop to the router using an ethernet cable the speed picked up dramatically so it is a wireless problem.
I also have a problem with the connection dropping, every few hours or so the connection drops completely and my mouse seems to freeze up, i then have to restart the computer.
